We had the pleasure of welcoming our guest, Umbriel Temiraliev, Director of the Bishkek Free Economic Zone, and laying the foundation for a promising large-scale project. 🚀
The goal of our cooperation is to establish an international hub for autonomous systems in Bishkek. What starts as a virtual test track will soon provide important data in the sky and on the road.
In Chemnitz, we have found strong partners in FDTech GmbH, IAV GmbH, and CADA – Chemnitz Automated Driving Alliance, who have given us exclusive insights into their autonomous driving technologies. Thanks to Karsten Schulze, Mirko Taubenreuther, and Bert Auerbach and colleagues for the exciting insights and the test drive! We got a preview of series production at the Transparent Factory of VW. Our guests also explored our state capital, Dresden, and were thrilled.
A few kilometers further, in Lusatia, we experienced autonomous flying. The AEF invited us to Kamenz, where the only Saxon test track for drones is located and where the foundations for autonomous air traffic are currently being laid.
Our region has enormous potential for technological innovations and many visionary minds to fully exploit it! 🚗✈️💡
For strategic support, we met with Silvana Bergk, Head of the Economic Department of the City of Chemnitz, Max Jankowsky, President of the IHK Chemnitz, and Christoph Neuberg, Managing Director of the IHK Chemnitz. These meetings were crucial to laying the foundation for successful collaboration. 🏛️💼🤝
What did we learn? With confidence in our engineers and entrepreneurs, we look forward to the future! We are excited to see how our Saxon-Kyrgyz cooperation will develop further.
